I
came up with this one after seeing how over used roasted garlic
mashed potatoes had become. I think shallots are much better than
Garlic giving this dish a unrecognizable great taste. With this
recipe nobody says wow Shallots! It is more like "these are
really good how did you make these?" Be sure to Mince the shallots
well.
Ingredients:
3 large potatoes
1 minced shallot
2-tablespoon butter
¼ cup sour cream
¼-grated Pecorino Romano cheese
Salt, pepper
Skin
and boil potatoes till soft. Drain potatoes into a colander. In
same pot sauté shallots in butter till translucent. Add potatoes
back to the pot with sour cream, cheese and mash with a suitable
potato masher. Season with salt and pepper.
